Movie exec Harvey Weinstein told the crowd at the amfAR beneft in Cannes that his daughters love the “Twilight” stud so much that they want to change their last name to Pattinson. And then he put Robert up for auction!

Joining in on the charitable festivities going on in Cannes, Hayden Panettiere was on-hand for the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS 2009 benefit at the Hotel du Cap on Thursday (May 21).

The “Heroes” hottie posed alongside Elton John’s partner, David Furnish, upon arriving at the Sharon Stone and Harvey Weinstein hosted affair, looking lovely in a flowing gown.

Throughout the past week, Miss Panettiere has been soaking up the sun on numerous yacht cruises, joining rumored new beau Steve Jones.

Causing a bit of a stir, Hayden showed off a new tattoo running across her side, which happened to read: “Vivere senza rimipianti” or “Live without regrets” in Italian.

Unfortunately, the permanent ink job happens to be misspelled, as it reads “rimipianti,” while it should be spelled “rimpianti.”
